On my hire cycle, I rode across Tower Bridge to the Tower of London.
It was surreal, riding along on a completely normal road, then turning and riding straight across this iconic London landmark. It was fairly busy, with lots of cars and lorries, but there was only one other cyclist.
Once across, I docked the bike and walked around, checking things out. The admission fee to go inside the Tower was £24.50, which I thought was rather steep, so I just stayed outside, and I was a little disappointed that I couldn't see the famous ravens or the yeoman warders, except this guy.
